Frequently Asked Questions
-
You can get in touch by email to arrange an initial consultation.
This first meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, talk about what has brought you to therapy, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.
-
Sessions are invoiced monthly, with payment due by bank transfer upon receipt of the invoice. Your session time is reserved exclusively for you each week, allowing us to maintain a consistent therapeutic space.
My current fee is £90 per 50-minute session. Details of my cancellation policy will be discussed during our initial consultation.

There is no set answer to this. Some people come to therapy for a few months, while others choose to stay for several years.
Psychodynamic therapy is an open-ended process because meaningful change often takes time. We regularly reflect on how the work is progressing and what feels right for you.
-
Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential, with a small number of legal and ethical exceptions, such as if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or someone else.
I will always explain confidentiality fully during our first session so that you know exactly what to expect.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, as well as those who simply want to understand themselves better.
Rather than specialising in one diagnosis or presenting problem, I focus on understanding you as a whole person. Whatever brings you to therapy, our work begins with your individual experiences, relationships, and unique way of being in the world.
-
Not at all. You don’t need to be in crisis or have a diagnosis to benefit from therapy.
Some people come because they’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, grief, or relationship difficulties, while others simply feel that something isn’t quite right or want to understand themselves more deeply.
I don’t work by treating a list of problems. Instead, I work with people. Together, we’ll explore whatever has brought you to therapy and what it means in the context of your life.
