I have been studying, training, and practising in the field of psychotherapy since 2019.
My journey began in Vienna, Austria, where I completed a BSc in Psychotherapy Science at Sigmund Freud University. In 2022, I moved to London, where I completed an MA in Psychoanalytic Studies at Birkbeck, University of London, before continuing my clinical training at the Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I created The Listening Nook because I wanted to build the kind of practice I would hope to find myself: one where people feel able to arrive exactly as they are, without feeling they need to have all the answers before they walk through the door.
My hope is that this becomes a space where there is room for curiosity, uncertainty, humour, silence, and everything in between. Somewhere you don’t have to arrive with the right words or even a clear reason for coming- only a willingness to begin.
My Approach
Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process.
More than any particular technique, it is the relationship between therapist and client that research consistently shows to be one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change.
You may find my approach a good fit if you’re curious about yourself and interested in exploring your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and recurring patterns in greater depth.
Psychodynamic therapy is less about receiving advice or learning a set of techniques, and more about developing a deeper understanding of yourself over time.
If you’re looking for structured exercises, coaching, or practical strategies to address a specific issue, another therapeutic approach may be better suited to your needs.
The initial consultation gives us the opportunity to explore what you’re looking for and whether working together feels right for both of us.
